Who we are

teclatam is an operator-backed research and advisory site for companies exploring nearshore software development hiring in Latin America. The site is operated in connection with Chimichurri and Lyon Digital. You can reach us at any time through our contact page.

What data we collect

We collect only what you voluntarily provide:

• Contact form submissions — name, work email, company name, project type, and any details you include in the message field
• Form metadata — a submission timestamp used for spam prevention

We do not currently use tracking cookies, pixel trackers, or third-party analytics services in production. The site may include lightweight internal event scaffolding to support future measurement, but no data is transmitted to external analytics providers at this time.

Contact form submissions are used to:

• Respond to your inquiry
• Evaluate fit and, where relevant, facilitate introductions to vetted nearshore providers from our network
• Where there is a strong fit, share relevant details with Chimichurri for potential direct engagement

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

Form processing

Contact form submissions are processed through Netlify Forms. Netlify acts as a data processor on our behalf. Submissions are stored on Netlify's infrastructure and are subject to Netlify's privacy policy.

Hosting and server logs

This site is hosted on Netlify. Like most web hosts, Netlify may collect standard server log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps). This data is managed by Netlify under their privacy policy and is not accessed or processed by us for analytics or marketing purposes.

Cookies

This site does not set first-party cookies. Netlify may set essential cookies required for site delivery and security (such as load balancing). No advertising or tracking cookies are used.

Third-party services

The site loads the following external resources:

• Google Fonts — for typography (Bricolage Grotesque and Plus Jakarta Sans). Google may collect anonymized usage data as described in Google's privacy policy.

No other third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking services are currently loaded. If we add a privacy-focused analytics provider (such as Plausible) in the future, this page will be updated accordingly.
